Outsider Visa Boycott Will Be Surveyed If Certain Conditions Are Met - US Ambassador, Mary Beth Leonard
The United States of America minister to Nigeria, Mary Beth Leonard has expressed that the migrant visa boycott against Nigerians which has touched off heaps of debates over the most recent couple of weeks, will be checked on if certain conditions are met....
Talking during an obligingness visit to the Minister of Labor and Employment, Chris Ngige in Abuja on Tuesday February 18, Leonard said that the US needs Nigeria to sift through issues with data sharing.
She said;
"I have to explain something for you here. The foreigner visa boycott doesn't influence individuals who are right now inhabitant in the United States. It doesn't drop the status of any individual who presently lives in the United States.
"What Secretary Pompey said was that it was intended to be brief. Furthermore, it is about issues with data sharing which are investigable, reachable and resolvable and we anticipate Nigeria in a brief timeframe having the option to meet those data sharing objective so the choice can be investigated."
