 On Wednesday, the NFF selected previous Super Eagles Captain and previous Everton player Joseph Yobo as partner mentor of the Nigeria Senior Men's football crew, evoking blended responses among football fans....
 Yobo, with no past instructing experience, or training accreditation replaces Imama Amapakabo as the associate mentor to Head mentor Gernot Rohr. 

 Yobo since retirement has filled in as a NFF envoy and TV intellectual with SuperSports. 

 Some consider the to be as a decent one for Nigerian football while others trust it is a political move expected to supplant Gernot Rohr.
