Maryam Sanda Moans, Endeavors To Escape After Court Condemned Her To Death By Hanging For Murdering Her Significant Other (Photographs)

A FCT High Court in Maitama has condemned Maryam Sanda to death by hanging for murdering her better half, Bilyaminu Bello....

The court saw Sanda as liable of killing her better half on Monday, January 27, 2020, and hence sentenced her for the charges. 

Sanda had on November 19, 2017 wounded her better half, Bilyaminu who was child of previous Peoples Democratic Party National Chairman, Dr Haliru Bello, to death following a charge of treachery against him in the wake of seeing an instant message on his telephone. 

Prior, the judge remained down the issue for five minutes following the dramatization that resulted after the conviction was passed. As per reports, Sanda fled the dock promptly the judge sentenced her. In any case, court authorities and jails authorities hauled her go into the dock.

Equity Yusuf Halliru rose for 5 minutes to return for condemning. He held that there was incidental proof combined with Sanda's declaration and proclamation to the police. The judge requested that she ought to be remanded in Suleja jail till she depletes her privilege of claim. 

He said the offense for which the convict was sentenced depended on Section 221 of the Penal Code. 

"It has been said that thou will not murder. Whoever murders without a second thought will pass on without a second thought," the judge said. 

"Maryam Sanda ought to harvest what she has planted," he stated, including, "it is blood for blood". 

Maryam continued howling and yelling "Inna lilahi Inna roji hun", while endeavors were being made by her family and attorney to support her. 

She was heard saying, "I was fasting and imploring … Ya Allah, why?" as court authorities declared that the judge was going to return for condemning. 

Sanda's mom and different sympathizers were imagined sobbing as authorities whisked Maryam Sanda away from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Abuja after she was condemned to death on January 27, 2020.
