A FCT High Court in Maitama has condemned Maryam Sanda to death by hanging for murdering her better half, Bilyaminu Bello....

The court saw Sanda as liable of killing her better half on Monday, January 27, 2020, and hence sentenced her for the charges.

Sanda had on November 19, 2017 wounded her better half, Bilyaminu who was child of previous Peoples Democratic Party National Chairman, Dr Haliru Bello, to death following a charge of treachery against him in the wake of seeing an instant message on his telephone.
