Equity Idris Kutigi has requested the capture of previous Minister of Petroleum, Dan Etete over his contribution in the Malabu Oil trick. Etete was the Minister of Petroleum under General Abacha's system.....
EFCC attorney, Bala Sanga, in an exparte application documented on January28th, educated the court that the capture of the previous Minister is critical to uncovering reality with regards to the Malabu oil trick. Equity Idris Kutigi, while allowing the solicitation, requested the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to capture the previous Minister and produce him under the steady gaze of the court.
"I have deliberately experienced the application… The application has merit and is allowed as prayed."the judge said
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had prior blamed Etete and two others for assuming jobs in the supposed false allotment of the worthwhile Oil Processing License 245 to Malabu Oil and Gas Limited in 1998.
The counter unite organization named Etete, Munamuna Seidougha and Amaran Joseph, as being on the run in the 42 checks of the supposed deceitful Malabu Oil exchanges as of late documented against the prompt past Attorney-General of the Federation, Mohammed Adoke (SAN), and six others.
Adoke and others had since argued not liable to the charges and were conceded bail by Justice Kutigi prior on Thursday January 29th.
